International fragrance delivery can work differently from ordinary parcels. Perfumes and fragrance products may be handled through specialist courier routes, and duties or taxes can depend on the destination and checkout method.

Many fragrance products contain alcohol or scented liquid and may be handled under dangerous-goods transport rules.

Duties & Taxes

DDP, DDU and Destination Charges

Checkout wording matters. Some destinations include duties and taxes at checkout; others may require local payment before delivery.

DDP

Duties and taxes are included at checkout where available, so there should normally be no separate destination duty payment before delivery.

DDU / DAP

Import duties, taxes, clearance charges or local fees may be payable by the customer before or at delivery.

Refused delivery

Refused international parcels can take several weeks to return, and shipping or destination charges may not be refundable.
