Authenticity, Sourcing & Prevention
This page explains how Soghaat approaches product sourcing, authenticity checks, customer prevention guidance and evidence-based review if a concern is raised.
It supports our Authenticity Guarantee by giving customers clearer information about what to check, what to keep and how to report a genuine concern properly.
How We Approach Supply
We aim to source products through trusted suppliers, recognised distributors and established fragrance partners.
Products are supplied in original brand packaging where applicable, with packaging details preserved for customer confidence.
Batch codes, labels, seals and packaging details are kept intact where visible and available from the manufacturer.
What Customers Should Keep
If you have any concern about a product, keeping the right evidence helps us review the matter fairly and efficiently.
- Keep the original product box, bottle, cap, seals and inserts.
- Keep the delivery box, parcel label and packing materials until the concern is reviewed.
- Take clear photos of the product, box, batch code, barcode, seals and any visible issue.
- Do not dispose of the item or packaging before contacting us.
- Do not open, test, spray or reseal an item if you believe the wrong item was supplied.
For missing, damaged, leaking or incorrect item concerns, please also read our Damaged, Missing or Incorrect Item Guide.
Packaging, Batch & Formula Variation
Manufacturers may update packaging, ingredients, bottle details, labels, formulas or presentation between batches. This means genuine products can sometimes look, smell or perform slightly differently from an older bottle or a product seen online.
Colour, atomiser feel, cap finish, label placement or scent tone can vary between production runs.
Longevity and projection can change with skin chemistry, application, weather, storage and environment.
Inspired fragrance descriptions are scent-style references and do not imply official brand affiliation or identical copies.
If You Raise an Authenticity Concern
Authenticity concerns should be specific and evidence-based. Claims based only on opinion, assumption, scent preference, performance, comparison or personal expectation may not be enough to progress a review.
- Provide your order number and product name.
- Provide batch code details where visible.
- Send clear images of the item, packaging and seals.
- Explain the exact concern and what you are comparing it against.
- Where appropriate, contact the manufacturer or brand with batch details and images for independent verification.
